Actually I read an article about dryer vents or filters. It seems the fabric sheets we use in the dryer will clog the screen and prevent flow of air. Soap and water will clean the screen and air again will free flow thru. Normal cleaning is just by using your hand to remove the lint. Good Luck.

VACUUM ATTACHMENT WITH THE FLATTEST END THAT WILL FIT THROUGH THE VENT OPENING....OR A RULER TO DIG IT OUT...ITS USUALLY NOT THAT PART THAT GETS CLOGGED BUT THE VENT TO THE OUTSIDE AT THE POINT WHERE IT ATTACHES TO THE APPLIANCE.

Just slide it out, get a hold of the bottom end and peel off and save for art projects.

You can use your hands to collect the lint. If you are squeamish, use a glove.
