Yes.

The perimeter of an announcement board is the length of the outside edge.

You can use a ruler/tape measure to measure it. Or if you had the height and length of the board, you could just double that and have the perimeter.

So if the board were 3 ft tall and 5 ft wide, the perimeter would be 2 x (3 + 5) = 30 ft.

think of it this way...if you were to outline the entire board with a fence, how long would the fence be? that is the perimeter. all you need to know are the lengths of the sides, and add them up. :]

I would if I had the measurements, in inches of the sides of the board... otherwise, it would just be fooling you...

L*2+W*2
That says length times two, plus the width times two if you were wondering
