This is the name of a section in Chapter XII of James' book "Psychology", as well as the name of a section in Chapter X of Principles of Psychology. It also appears to be the title of a short essay by James, which may be in one of his collections of essays. There are several books published by the Harvard Press that may contain the essay, although it's hard to tell without seeing the Table of Contents for each.
