u can barley see through her stomach! i think that she is pregnant cause she has a big tummy,larger sized than male, really defendant, protects herself by speed . is she pregnant or not?!?!?!

She could be. Has her stomach gotten bigger in the last week?---or did you buy her this way.
Guppies are very prolific. Chances are she is pregnant.

It sounds like she is pregnant. Can you see little dots in her stomach? If you can she definitely pregnant the darker the further she is along. Mine usually eat less and hang out at the top or the bottom of the tank. They don't swim as much as they normally do. I would put her in a breeder trap, but be careful with her she might lose her babies. Try not to frighten her. Every time mine has babies the light is off so try that. Also turn the water temp up a little (80) it will make the babies mature faster.

Probably. They reproduce like crazy. If she looks like she's gonna pop, more than likely she is pregnant. Females get really aggressive when pregnant. They may chase or seem to bully other fish. Keep a close eye on her. She may even have dropsy. If she starts to look like a pine cone with her scales sticking out and doesn't have her fry, then check into getting her meds for that.

Sounds like it you may want to islolate her inside the tank with a add on you can buy at the pet store, looks like a net with arms. Once the babies are born you remove her and it gives them a chance to grow and not be eaten by mistake.

its a good chance she's pregnate if there is a male,guppies are the easyiest fish to breed,because you dont have to do anything.
