if you liked the uglies trilogy then try the clique series by lisi harrison
also the a-list series by zoey dean.
these are two great series, each have about 6 books in them by now.
i also love sarah dessens books!! she writes some great stuff.
i know she has a newer book out, so maybe you havent read that.
and there is the pretties, which is written by the same author as the one who wrote the uglies.
and lastly, there is the gossip girl series, sorry i cant remember the author! but these are all some great series for a teen. i have read them all, and absolutely loved them!!!
<3 good luck!!
o and also "speak" by laurie halse anderson.. i think. that was a good book. as well as any book by meg cabot or caroline b cooney.
i like the princess diaries series (meg cabot)
and the face on the milk carton series (caroline b cooney)
as well as a book called the key to the golden firebird. sounds boring. actually really funny and teen-ish

There are a lot of good ones out there. The best one I've found was King Fortis the Brave by LaMontagne and Snyder. It's about a pair of twins that are pulled into a magical land where they find themselves caught in the middle of a battle for control of the realm. The boy twin, Rodney, is mistaken for King Fortis, an Arthur-like figure that is to someday return in the time of the land's greatest need. It's really a great book full of humor and adventure. I recommend it to my students all the time and have had students that really hate to read come back and tell me how much they love it.

Girl, 15, Charming but Insane by Sue Limb
The Blue Girl by Charles de Lint
A Certain Slant of Light by Laura Whitcomb
There is also a series of books by Laurie Faria Stolarz which starts with "Blue is for Nightmares" and goes on from there. It's a good series to read.

Haven't heard of any of those. I recommend:
The Chronicles of Ancient Darkness
The Harry Potter series
The Chronicles of Narnia
Eragon
Eldest (the sequel to Eragon)
The Artemis Fowl series
Holes
Hatchet (and pretty much anything else by Gary Paulsen)
