If you are talking about more current former presidents, yes there is a president who has taken more vacations that PRESIDENT Bush, and that is President Clinton. Check it out for yourself.
And by the way, a President is never truly on vacation, they are just taking time away from the Capitol, but they are always in the middle of the decision making.

To say this country is not at war is naive beyond words. And as much as it hurts some to say it, George Bush is the American President. The President is never on "vacation" as most would think of that concept; in fact, I'm sure "working vacation" doesn't even come close to describing what he experiences.

Think you confuse vacation time for a president to be more like you would envision for you family..The president is never away from the white house.. it goes with him. Whether on the ranch or in air force one. Historically, every president has to take some time away from the rigors of the daily grind. In case you haven't noticed it, he is showing signs of carrying the load of his office.

He's taken more than just about any other president.

But c'mon we are not at war. War is something that Congress declares and of course they have not. Technically, the president's war-making powers have a limited time-frame and it ain't 3 years.

So it really doesn't matter if he takes a vacation.

People hate to lose-and I guess you supported the President's opponents. Now more than ever Americans must be united because their are countries/terrorists who desire to blow us off the map. The Clintons, Gores, and Kerrys of the world realize this also.

A president's job is the most successful job in the world. Let him have some vacation time please ok?

The President is never on vacation! The President is always working. He has a lot of responsibilities.

Tony Blair is on holiday ALL the time. He went on holiday despite knowing about the British terror plot; the transport minister flew home as soon as heard, for crying out loud!

Actually, yes.
FDR spent a lot of time with his mistress, in a hot tub.....JFK had his own little trysts, and even Lincoln had his break times....
But i'd say, FDR won, hands down.
