Its not bad at all. Once you get to high school it will seen like a complete joke that you were worried about middle school. And when you get out of high school you might feel how i felt. I didn't want anything to do with any thing high school. I changed my cell number, moved out of my moms house, and got a new job. I totally lost contact with almost everybody from high school. Unfortunatley i still live in that same town, but i do not drive by that school. I enjoyed it while i was there, but i think it was kind of a waste of my time. I learned i will give you that, but it was still a waste of my time. Don't worry about a thing, middle school aint nothin.

Dont listen to all these dunces telling you its easy. That is 100% bullshit.

It is a really hard transition. I just stepped up to Jr high last year, it is a living hell. I'm going to 8th grade... What a hellhole. Literally going through the worst years of my life. I cant wait till I'm a freshman so I can get out.

Stand your ground in this dog-eat-dog years.

sorry DET-you don't get to choose if you're a loser or not. some ridiculously insecure peer will do that for you.
however, school is what you make it. it takes a tough skin to get through those years where everyone has changes going on-pretty much all through school. i recommend getting involved as much as you can and as much as your parents will allow you to. the more you put yourself in situations to meet people, the better the chance to make friends and find people with common interests. i have a 7th grader myself so i see the teasing and ribbing that occurs-if it's in good fun, go with it and roll with the punches. if it seems abusive, talk to a counselor, teacher or your parents quickly so it doesn't fester and make you more frustrated than needed. hopefully, you have adults around you can talk to-we've all been there done that.

Middle school for me was very dramatic...i was a smart kid that was uncordinated and chunky...i got made fun of a lot. My body was going through changes that i didnt quite understand and it seemed like all my friends had boyfriends when i didnt. It was rough

Some advice in hindsight....Be yourself!!! dont sellout to make people think your cooler than what you are. everybody that age is going through an akward phase. Be nice to everybody even if they are mean to you but...dont be afraid to stand up for what you believe in. Its only three years of your life and high school is way better

and you'll feel the same way when you go to high school, but when you get there, its a lot of fun

well, what's so scary about middle school??? is it going to be harder, are your friends going to the same school? middle school is of course going to be harder academically, cmon its sort of prepares you for high school. if your friends are not going their then just make new ones you know its not that hard, i think you have made friends before...just because linda elerbee's middle school was really bad doesnt mean yours will be bad, doesnt mean that mine was bad...actually i am in my last year of middle school it has been a wonderful experience for me...one that i wil never forget because all my friends were fun to be with and my teachers are supportive, they are strict, but they are also nice...remember middle school might be hard, but it is also fun
