Yes, money makes the world go round and round. We keep going in circles, getting nowhere...

...Love, kindness and empathy are what moves us *forward*. Going round and round is pointless.

I do agree with u. Yes, it pays to be a nice, kind, altruistic person with other's well-being at heart instead of ur own...but w/o the cash to back all of that up; no one else would know or care...and majority does rule right? I mean, if Angelina Jolie wasn't rich and famous, a lot more people in Africa would die because no cameras would follow her around. If Oprah wasn't rich and famous, no one would support her altrustic causes. No one would matter to the world if they weren't rich. Yes, there was mother teresa...but if America helped India out as much as it helped Isreal or Saudi Arabia...it wouldn't be a third world country anymore...and yet, they're all democratic...but Isreal and Saudi Arabia are rich...India isn't. Ideals and values backed up by money will get acknowledged and accomplished, but w/o money it won't.

It's absolutely true. Try living in this materialistic, capitalistic world without money. Life sucks when you're broke. People are either getter richer or poorer. The middle class will be gone in 10 years.

Depends on your perspective. If you can truly live a rural, self-sufficient life then family/love makes the world go round.

If you want to live in the city or suburbs and buy your food at the grocery store then sure, money makes the world go round.

All money does is make people who have it think they own the world but they sure don't make it go around.

I totally agree. It's why we work. It's what buys us the things we need/want. I don't think it's possible to live a rural life nowadays.
