I used to have Dish Network, and cable and now I have Direct TV, and believe cable and direct is much better even when it's raining it never looses signal and for cable it doesn't effect it. But when you want turn off your dish service and go to a new service you have to pay 200 dollars more, so cable and direct is much better.

I can tell you Dish Network is bad. It goes out in bad weather and cold weather. It will blackout alot and it takes hours to come back. They'll never upgrade loyal customers either. You get what you get and that is it. You have to pay through the nose to get a DVR or HD upgrade. We'll cancel when we move and go Direct TV or cable.

We have DirecTV and I am very pleased with it...if I had the same amount of channels on cable it would cost me approximately twice what I pay now and I do believe that Dish would be cheaper than what I have ..

I rarely have any problem with the often reported and totally dreaded but seldom seen rain fade...

Dish Network. Their employees actually care about the costumer and they don't rip off their costomers either.
