How could you possibly KIDNAP two journalists and hold them hostage for two weeks and force them to convert to Islam. Anyone could say they believe in Allah, get released and don't mean a word of it. It's just STUPID!!

Thank GOD (not Allah) they are okay....I was so happy to hear this that they got released! I notice that the news isn't really commenting too much on if they *really* converted to Islam. I imagine that if they denounce it later, that could cause a whole lot more problems for other journalists in Gaza. This situation has to be handled with "kid gloves" IMO.
I doubt they are really Muslims now...but who knows how much brainwashing those asshole kidnappers really did to them.
I'll be following this story very carefully to see if they denounce Muslim.
But I agree, I'd do anything, sign anything to get out of their alive if I was in their position.
Thank GOD again for their safe release.

What the "great" western world does not seem to recognise is that the Islamic religion evolved some 400 plus years after Christianity and a few hundred more behind Judaism.
Both those religions have exercised intolerance and fanaticism just as much as todays Muslims.... so be patient they will catch us up eventually.
By the way apart from the Palestinian/Isreal/Lebanon problem do you remember Northern Irealand a few years ago ?

Its purely a propaganda tool used by Hamas to display to the world that Christians can become converted after re-education.
Its also a known fact that for survival reasons you agree to the requests of your kidnapper, so that you appease them and hope that they in turn will be favourable toward you at the time of the judgement. Military person ell however can't go along that path due to the fact that once communication has been started between the captive individual and the hostage taker then your at your weakest now.

The journalists were lucky that the weren't Jewish because they would of just been killed.
I don't think Allah wanted his religion interpreted as some of the Muslim's seem to be doing. I should add there are still a lot of good hard working peaceful followers of Islam out there.

I'm not going to say anything cos it'll be extremely offence to muslims and things. But when have have we stolen they're people and forced them to become christian. I'm glad the journiasts didn' mean it and I hope they are safe.

From what I've read, those guys were just forced to sign statements saying they were converted. I would sign anyhing to get the hell out of there in one piece
