I've seen some truly impressive pages. But some pretty duff ones as well. And yes, I think it's "cheesy" (good word for it LOL) to advertise one.
I'm still trying to build my page. But it's not as easy as I thought it might be. And I agonise about what I should disclose, and what I should include.

i agree, it is desperate sounding isn't it? No I don't advertise for folks to look at my personal blog and pages.
If they are curious about me from one of my answers and want to check it out then good thing. but to ask the masses to go and look, nope, I have sent messages into my friends circle to have them look at a special one and tell me if I did the graphics and things right.
