Thanks to everyone who suggested Rosy, but that's not the word. It's a longer word. It came to me in a dream. I looked it up in the dictionary in the middle of the night, but didn't write it down.

It is most definitely the word "rosy" that can mean "red" or optimistic and cheerful!
