I think that Monkeys are really similiar to Humans in many ways.. My teacher asked to find out the percentage of the similarity between them so can u please help me??

the percentage of genetic similarity? that you can look up, but its well over 95%
and be careful in your search whether she asked for monkeys or apes.. it makes a small difference.. =)

Monkeys, like humans, are primates, but they are not apes, like we are. We are genetically closer to other apes than to monkeys. In particular, our DNA and that of the chimpanzee, our closest relative, are close to 99% alike.
