I'm sorry you feel that Girl Scouts have a bad reputation. I'm sure it's a perception thing. I have found that about 7th grade girls start dropping out because their *friends* start teasing them about being Girl Scouts and how it's not cool. The sad thing about that is that the girls that are doing the teasing are jealous. They wish that they could do all of the cool things that the Girl Scouts are doing, but that more than likely they don't have parents that give a darn and are willing to sacrifice a little and have their daughter in Girl Scouts and take them to meetings and sign a few forms. People usually lash out at others that they are jealous of and they want everyone to be as unhappy as they are.

I've never heard of Girl Scouts having a bad rep like you described. I know that as girl get older they feel it is uncool which is really a shame. I think Girl Scouts is a wonderful organization and there are so many good changes being made right now. It's an exciting time to be a Girl Scout.

i think of them being pretty much the same as boy scouts. but girl scouts probably sell more cookies. lol. i never heard they had a bad rep i thought the boyscouts were known for having a bad rep.

I've always thought that GS was a good thing.. if they're doing something bad, let me know.. I'll quit buying all their wonderful cookies

i dont think they shud have a bad rep...i mean..theyre REALLY sweet and they do alot of service which i think is great...i admire those girls who take part in it...=]
