The thing I learned playing football was to envision yourself going through the opponent. Focus on trying to hit him at his spine rather than in his midsection. I'm sure if you do this he'll remember your number.

Well, the way my coaches tought me is get your head on the side of the ball, stay low( lowest man wins) wrap em up, and pretty much tackle them. Never go to you knees because the might break off and continue running. If you can, try picking them up after you wrap up. As long as you stay low when you wrap up, you might can stand higher and pick them up and tackle them.

Break down bend at your knees wrap up your man and drive up through. Continue driving your legs.

Also, don't try to guess which way they will cut, just go straight at them. Watch which way they're shoulders and waist and eyes are leaning and turning. If you watch their feet they can switch direction fast and miss you.
