is there anywhere on the internet that helps you learn how to speak with different accents? i need to learn how to speak with an east coast accent for an audition. a direct webiste would be helpful. thanks

It depends...I lived in Central Massachusetts for five years and the accent there is different that New Jersey and New York City...Rhode Island and Massachusetts accents are what Peter and Lois have on Family Guy..very nasal and hard to imitate...New York and New Jersey accents are extremely similar and easy to imitate.....dog is dwag...coffee is cwaffee....you have to be more specific.....but if you practice, you should be able to get it....

I wouldn't use the Internet for this. Choose a performance by an actress who spoke in an accent similar to the one you're playing.

Tape it, and then study it.
