haha. No, the hanky code's no longer in wide use. For those who don't know the hanky code tells a lot about the sexual inclinations of a person. The left was for the tops (or dominants pennding on the act) and the right back pocket for bottoms (or submissive depending on the act). Colors were like dark blue = oral on the left liked to receive, right liked to give., white= virgin left is looking for virgins, right was for the virgins. Basically guys would match up if they had the same colored hanky but in the opposite back pocket...

I haven't seen it in years.
For those Young 'uns the Hanky codes were a system of identifying what someone was "into" sexually by the color and place a hanky was worn on the body(usually back pocket).

I was in a gay store, The Leather Rack, in DC not too long ago, and they had an ample supply of colored bandannas and their business card carries the code on the back. But I rarely see anybody using colored bandannas in left and right pockets....then again, I don't go to leather/Levi gay bars.

Given some of the answers here I think that the answer is no. Although I hear tell that there is a shop in the Castro, SF where they'll still talk you through 300 different colours or combos.

I've heard of people using this "code" but I never have...and I don't ever see anyone doing it. I think that's something people did a long time ago....

well im 31 and i have never known anyone to use the hankies
