Try to come up with a main character for your story. Write down a description - male, female, eye color, etc. etc.

Then take this character and imagine then in some odd place or scenario – anything goes! Write down ideas on what would have to happen to your character or how they would react to the scenario you placed them in.

You can do this for multiple characters if you like.

This may seem futile, but it will help you flesh out some characters and give you insight into what you may want to happen to this type of character in a potential story. You may even come up with multiple story lines!

Strong well crafted main characters can inspire readers to love your story as well as drive you to write a great story for these imagined beings so be in! :-)

You will be better if you write about something you really know and love. You can also write a novel inspired by your own experiences, short stories, funny stuff, monologues you may sell to comedians, lyrics for songs. ( you don't have to be a poet to do that. Let your heart speak!).. Use your imagination, visualise what you are writing or write what you are getting from inspiration. And do not give up on your first try.

Write a story of love and betrayal. A tale of a woman desperately at odds with herself in her desires to love and be loved while betraying both herself and her partner by wanting more than any man could ever congure. Perhaps she is a mystical being feeding upon the love she recieves. Perhaps she needs love to live and when, as it often occurs, the love is withheld she slowly dies. Her slow deterioration could come in any myriad of forms. Maybe she loses her senses making finding and attracting love more difficult as time goes by. Perhaps she could eventually lose her sight and not be able to get it back so that in an effort to restore it she congures a spell for true love. Her true love could be that of the most disgusting of creatures but since she can't she can't see she would never be aware of that nor could it cloud her ability to acknowledge his love. I would imagine they would not live happily ever after as his love too would fade in time and she would would find her demise more disgusting than others found her lover.

Hope that's of some help, please send me anything you come up with. Best wishes

Write about why some people on Yahoo Answers would waste their time to answer questions with useless and at times even offensive answers.

What satisfaction you think they actually get from it.. etc.

It would be an interesting read.

What's your favorite genre? Which authors do you like? You can write about that idea that's been floating around in your head for a while or develop one of your favorite daydreams.
