My daughter accidently spilled candle wax on her favorite shirt. She got the hard parts of it off, but the shirt still has a waxy feeling and you can see the white colored wax on her black shirt.
The shirt is 100% cotton, Is there anything that she can use to remove the candle wax stain off her shirt?

Oh man, I hate when that happens.

If it's only the oily stain, think of it as a grease stain. Try some talcum powder/baby powder on both sides. See if that soaks some of it up. You may have to use a stain remover product. However, try a liquid detergent gently rubbed into the stain, let it sit for an hour, then soak in warm water.

Take cubes of ice and put them on the shirt where the wax is. Let the ice melt then do it again. Then scrape the wax with your finger nail it should come off.

Try using a paper towel and your iron..Lay the paper towel over the wax mark and go over with your iron on a low setting..this may help melt the wax and the paper will absorb it.
