I have bee playing electric guitar for 2.5 years. in my 2nd year i could play stairway tro heaven and the solo. a lot of ppl say that I am amazing but i think i suck... what do you think??

People always think that they suck--that's actually why they play *better*. See, if you think you suck, then you continually work to improve yourself. Thinking that you're decent is ok, as long as you keep practicing. Once you think you're great, you become self-righteous, and THEN you start to suck.
And, of course, no one on here can tell if you suck because we can't hear you play.

I doubt you really think you suck. If you really thought that you suck, you wouldn't want to play the guitar anymore. Just enjoy your ability and keep learning.

Honestly, I can't say anything without hearing you play. And, honestly, playing the Stairwray To Heaven intro is something that pretty much all aspiring guitarists learn to do--it was one of the first intros I learned. But it's a super cool party trick that impresses all non-guitarists. :)

You're your own worst enemy....I'm a Film major, and I don't really like acting...I like directing...but people always tell me I'm a really good actor, and I think I'm ok....if it's important to you, you should perform in front of strangers or something...if they don't know you, they'll give an honest feedback

you are always your own worst critic. if your friend tell you that you are good sure it could be because they feel bad, but i doubt it. also if strangers say youre good then you gotta be cuz most people dont care about another strangers feelings. good luck and have confidence in yourself!

use your own talent and write some original songs
thats the only way to know if your any good
