No you do not. The draft order is set either by picking numbers out of a bag or by using an online randomizer.

I think there is a way to set the draft order through the Commisioner tools settings, but then thats cheating.. assuming you are in a fantasy league with your friends, you don't want to cheat now, do you?
The fairest way is to let Yahoo randomize the draft order for you. It's possible you might get the #1 pick, then agian, you might not. But, if you are a good fantasy player, you can make a championship team from any spot in the draft

in league settings you can choose the order of the draft, or you can let it randomly decide who picks where. So you do not automatically get #1, but you can make yourself #1 if you'd like

select drafts picks if you take the first pick automaticly the probably won have any players next year

you go to comissioner tools in your league and choose the draft order, or it will do it in the order that people registered.
