The most I'd pay.....probably around $30. There's no way in hell I'd spend hundreds of dollars on a freakin hand bag! There's better things to spend that money on. Now...if someone wants to buy me an expensive handbag, that's their choice but even still.....I'm not THAT materialistic.

Why ladies only? I don't carry a handbag myself, but do know some guys that carry them. You are generalizing and perpetuating stereotypes by focussing the question on one sex. Why don't you ask the guys something like: "how much would you spend on a handbag for a lady?" If you want to gear the question one way. I feel left out... $500.

No more than $35. Designer names and labels mean nothing to me. Even if I had that kind of money to spend I still wouldn't. It's a complete waste. A $35 handbag has the same functionality as a $400 handbag.

Honestly, I wouldn't spend much at all. Maybe 25-30 at the most, but nothing over that. They're too easy to lose, or misplace, and really there's no point to spending more. It's just a handbag. Some people are too obsessed with insiginficant things, like brand names, or status.

I would buy the handbag that she like, and if was in my budget.

I am not a lady, but I have learned this from girfriends. Bags is the most important accessorie. You should spend $300-$500. I spent $100 for a coach wallet.

I spent $125 + tax for a beautiful handbag that I carry for dress. But, that was before I discovered Marshall's, Ross, TJMaxx & Ebay! Ain't nothin' like a bargain, girl!

No. it truly is not even that eye-catching, i've got seen and offered extra effective looking bags from Primark. Why worry to spend that funds on an merchandise which you will infrequently ever use (in case you have have been given better than 2 purses and so on)?

I'd spend up to 100 but no more. and that's only on something that I can get a lot of use out of. Quality and practicality is what I look for when I'm gonna shell out that much money.
