Well, you need thongs so you can walk from the locker to the pool. You need a lock for the locker. A bag to carry all of your swim supplies in. Clean underwear and socks. You can use the clothes you had on. Shampoo and Condition. Soap. Goggles and a nose plug if you are particular about chlorine. A towel. And don't forget to shower before entering the pool. It gets all the oils off your skin that may get into the water.

Swimming cap, nose clip, ear plugs, towel, flip flops, and whatever feminine products that you need. Soap and shampoo maybe, and a nice swimsuit. If you can get the Red Cross Swimming Manual, read it first and write down questions. Dive shallow, unless in deep end, or just jump in, okay??? Pools are slippery, no running, you can't swim with a broken bone, and they really hurt.
Make friends and have fun!!!!!

Ask your instructor what you need. You should have been given some material to read about the class. You will need appropriate swim wear for certain. As for anything else, your instructor will tell you.
