Particularly for disneyland but as a matter of fact, how about any amusement parks in LA (magic, universal, raging waters etc...)? Thanks!

I agree completely with the responder who said DO NOT buy Disney tickets on ebay. Disneyland tickets EXPIRE fourteen days after the first use, so if anyone is trying to sell partially used multi-day passes on ebay, the odds are very good that they will be expired by the time you get them.

People in the military often have access to discounted military tickets through the Morale, Welfare, and Recreation office on base. If you know anyone in the military, you could ask them to check the prices for you.

If you buy multi-day passes online from the Disney website, you can save a little bit of money compared with buying them at the gate. But you have to buy them two weeks in advance of your trip to allow for shipping.

If you are a resident of SOUTHERN California (not the whole state), then Disney offers a small discount. You must provide proof of residency when purchasing.

Basically, Disney has very strict controls on their ticket media. They do not heavily discount. You just have to be prepared to pay what they're asking. Good luck, and have fun!

Hi Guy
The ebay thing wont work for you I got Universal Studios tickets that way and they scanned them at the gate and they asked for our ID's and they didn't match so we had to buy other tickets full price (that was a multi day ticket) If you can find a cast member online that's the best way to do it as they are given a certain number of tickets that they can use ( and they sometimes sell them ) AAA has minimal discounts but as far as I know Disney doesn't discount some of the others have deals with coke for minimal discounts and there are little discount booths all over down there , then there is the time share tours ( owch) and last but not least if you know a travel agent see if you can get a IATTA number as one of her ( or his) reps long shot but free entry. Good luck and have a great time

Do not, I repeat DO NOT buy amusement park tickets on eBay unless you want to take on the high risk of being scammed.

Here are the most common ways to get discounts to amusement parks.

Disneyland - Very few discounts are offered. The Southern California resident discount which changes by season is the largest, most popular discount. It was a 2-days for the price of one deal this past spring. Presently it is an upgrade to a 1-day park hopper for the price of a 1-day, 1-park ticket.

Knott's Berry Farm lists the discounts available on their web site under "What's Hot". Most of the deals require you to pick-up a coupon at a local fast food restaurant or grocery store. Presently, you can get $10 off tickets at Ralph's stores or a $10 off coupon at Baskin Robbins. They also sell tickets online with a $5 discount.

Six Flags Magic Mountain sells discounted tickets on their web site. You get a $20 discount on a one-day admission online. Many employers also receive 50% off coupons from Magic Mountain for their employees.

Universal Studios offers discount coupons in many Los Angeles attraction racks or tourist magazines. They also offer a $10 discount if you purchase your tickets on their web site.

The best deal is the Southern California Citypass which includes a 3-day Disney park hopper, 1-day to Universal Studios, 1-day to SeaWorld San Diego and 1-day to either the San Diego Zoo or Wild Animal Park for $199 adults, $159 children.

In general, you can always call an amusement park to ask about their current discounts. Parks openly share this information with the public. They want you to come and if a discount is what will get you there then they'll point you in the right direction.

I never knew that the words "Disneyland Tickets" and "Cheap" could be in the same scentene :P. I think the best way is to check out Ebay, or just save up money for tickets from Disneyland It's self. Sorry.

The best way to get Disney tickets cheap is not by using e-bay the best way to do it is find help. If you are flying out most of the times if you talk to a travel agent, get a deal with airfare, and your tickets. 99% of the time you will get a better deal for a 4 day pass , or a 10day pass

City pass is good if you use it all in one trip.

For Disney by itself I would try Mouseplanet.com and look in the DLR Update Section. They tend to have a section of deals at the very end.

Disney discounts multi-day passports much more often than single day passes.
