There are over the counter products at your local pharmacy or Walmart designed to remove acne scarring. They can be found by the skin care section. There are also laser treatments available and exfoliating systems. Talk to a dermatologist for more.

The most effective (and permanent) way to get rid of the acne scars are with laser surgery. My brother-in-law had them teribbly and decided to have it done. It is done over several treatments (depending on the severity of the scars). He looks wonderful now, without a trace of any scar.
Please shop around but don't go by lowest price. Go by credentials. Make sure the doctor is board certified. You could wind up in worse shape by chosing a low cost doctor without much experience.

Ask your GP to make an appointment for you to see a skin specialist and ask for advice on the matter. Whatever you do, you should not take amateur advice or self-medicate. If you want to remain looking nice for the rest of your life, and you will, I'm sure, ask the appropriate professionals.

I had the same problem with pimples but listen and listen good. this may sound gross but it is what we indians call ayurvedic antiseptic. Use your saliva on pimples or whatever and I swear it will work within the next 2days.
