I think youngsters should be involved and should think about the issues. Politics isn't about being in the Republican club or the Democrat club. Its about finding answers for our problems. Parties help us do that but they are not an ends in themselves.

Youngsters needs to be involved in Politics, but not the current kind. They need to detach themselves from Emotional Politics. Today most of the Youngsters attach to a political party based on an Individual's Charisma or Popularity gained from other streams of profession. Listening to Fiery & Flowery Speeches to attract people, most youngsters do not know/understand the ideology of Political Party. With Coalition party we do not know if there exists a Political Ideology for the Parties.
Words do not help us it is Action that we need to Seek.

Most "youngsters" are not interested in poltics, let alone what the word "politics" means.
Those who are interested, have been raised in an environment where politics have been made aware to them. Yet, at the same time, those who have been made aware of politics, are only hearing one side. So their resources to make their learning process about politics to expand, are at the hands of others who have opinions and not the facts surrounding all issues.
A political class should be taught in highschool, where in some states that is currently being met by certain school districts. There is also debate class, where this is being met by school districts. Yet, you also have to look at the parents, most parents do not want their children to surrounded by political views at an early age.
Yes it's a great idea, but you have to look at the whole picture.....

As long as they are allowed to build their own opinion. But mark my words, as soon as the parties identify that a demographic significant number of youngsters are interested in politics they will try to brainwash them the same way as the (so called) "adults".
The system is corrupted and should be rebooted, with all the old crap unloaded and tossed. And of course, that would have to start with the Bush junta.

I believe that young and old aught to vote and be involved in politics, if not with a single party, then keeping up with what going on politically. the people we vote for shape our country and we need to make sure that we get people into office that supports all or most of what we believe in or the world will suffer.

Yes, it's great for our youngsters to be involved with what is going on in their country ( and in the world for that matter). Be sure to read current events in newspapers to know what's going on, because history is important in the political process. ( You may have heard the saying " history repeating itself"- if you don't know what happened in history, you are bound to repeat the same mistakes)

Looking the way the Country is run today, Obviously!!!!
We need to enter the real field which needs immediate development!!!!!! Instead of trying to develop everything around us, First start with politics coz that's where the corruption starts.
