I'm a freshmen in college,my major is early childhood education.I want to be a teacher,I want to get all the experience i can in the teaching field.I want to get a job as a teacher aid, but i don't know what certification if any i need.

The first thing I'd suggest is that you learn to spell the name of the position: it's aide, not aid. If you're interested in early childhood education, you might try getting a part-time job at a pre-school or kindergarten. Schools in Irvington are listed here:

Most teacher aid jobs require only some college. Many of them are part time and often don't pay high. The board of education in irvington, nj can answer any of your questions perfectly.

You probably need to get certified as a paraprofessional. However, most often you end up working as a secretary or hall monitor. Generally they do not pay people to be an aide to a teacher. It is usually volunteer.
