I would say have a dress up party and set up about 5 game areas at your house where the kids can have fun playing. Of course having pizza to kick off the party would be a great start.

yes, no skeletons or scary things at that age, i am not much in to themes but! find a good theme , you could be the good witch like Glenda , looks like you have the right hair for it! from the wizard of OZ and Dorothy! and A tin man and lion and scarecrow. and you could have flowers and a little yellow brick road and the emerald city and the horse of a different color . give treats out like cut apples , strawberries , fruits , nuts and popcorn and some candy . pin the pin or magnets on the bad witch's big nose! and like the other poster said bob for apples. all kinds of good clean and not scary fun for your granddaughter!

Have a Halloween carnival theme party...games, carve pumpkins, haunted house (with yucky things in a box that the kids have to reach in and touch....), cake walk, costume contest, apple bobbing, candy apples and ask a parent to dress as a witch and read a Halloween story.

Have a themed party that would be appropriate for all children. They can all dress to the theme and the games you play can be related to it. For example, if the theme is Pirates, you can watch a not-too-scary pirate movie, and look for buried treasure. You could also paint or carve pumpkins and give them eye patches and bandannas.

okay A maze is always fun for young kids. get the goofy decorations with the big cartoony skeletons and witches and black cats. hmmm Scooby doo has alot of animated movies that would be good to watch. you can get a book of old ghost stories that would be fun. Make the dirt cup cakes with the gummy worms on them and ghost cookies. wow I can't really think of a whole lot. I hope this helped.
