Its 8ft by 4ft and 3 ft high, about 600 gallons of water and it sits outside in the sun. Do I just need to get chlorine, or what? How often do you add it, where should I get it? Thanks

1.You need a water test kit from your local spa or pool supply store.
2.Ask the person at the store what chlorine to purchase, i.e., tabs, powder, sticks (of chlorine)
3. Also, ask what other chemicals you may need to keep the spa water balanced by pH & all.
4. Follow the directions, test the water.
5.Using the chemicals you bought;Follow the directions on the containers and retest as needed.

Good Luck! Real simple stuff....

First of all Bromine works better in hot water than chlorine and it is also cheaper...so go with bromine. Second, you can add a granular bromine after every use (amount based on gallonage) or you can use a bromine floater with bromine tabs in it. That is the most economical way to handle the situation. Remember to watch the pH and Total Alkalinity and your water will be fine. You can get the products on-line at https://www.poolsplusinc.com/acatalog/home.html

You need a PH test to see the chemical level take it to the pool store.t Then they would recommend a Clarine tablet for that size pool. Have a good day.
