Here are a few mixers that have been a lot of fun for teenage groups I've worked with:
Name toss
Class sits in a circle. Teacher tosses a beanbag or ball to a student while saying that student’s name. That student then tosses it to another student while saying his/her name, and so on. Eventually, additional beanbags/balls are introduced.
“My name is ----- and I like to eat ------.”
Class sits in a circle. Teacher starts by saying his/her name and her favorite food. The student beside teacher says the teacher’s name, the teacher’s favorite food, then the student’s own favorite food. Each new “player” names all the previous players’ information and then their own.
Two Truths and a Lie
Players think of three interesting things about themselves, and only two are true. They take turns sharing these with the group, and then the group tries to guess which one of them was a lie.
The Knot
Players stand in a circle and put all their hands in the center. Everyone grabs two hands from the center. Then, they try to unravel the “knot” they are in without letting go of anyone’s hands.

I just did this at a camp...put rope in a rectangle shape. Then, depending on hoe many people are in your group, put that number of paper plates. Each plate should have a number, and they can be written any number of ways and you can skip numbers too. Then, have the group work together to find out a way to touch all of the numbers the fastest way. The problem is that only one person can be in the rope by the plates at one time, and the numbers have to be touched in sequence. People will probably think that less people will work better, but if everyone works together, after a few times they should fiqure it out.

Have them play a mystery murder game.
There is acting involved (everyone acts a part)......also its fun to dress up for the period. One game is set in the 1914 era.
Here are several sites that have these games.....or call a local gaming store to see if they stock these types of games. There are some for a group of 30 or more.
Click on a game you like for more info.......

If you dress up.......you can get cloths at a thrift store, Salvation Store, etc for a reasonable price (wash the clothes).
Great group party game.

Scene it is a great game with movie trivia, but there are only 4 game peices so they would have to split into 4 teams of 7. I have played the game with 10 people and it was great.

Truth or Dare(w/ reasonable questions/dares), or Scene It, or even Chinese Telephone(I don't mean to offend anyone-thats what its called-one of my friends from China introduced me to it). If you've never heard of it before, here's how you play:
Everyone sits in a huge wide circle, and the person who's starting the game whispers a made up sentence into the ear of the person to their left or right and the game continues in that direction(whether its clockwise-or anti-clockwise). Finally, the person who made up the sentence or phrase has it whispered in their ear and has to say out-loud the original sentence vs. what's left of the original. The game continues to the next person who makes up a phrase or sent.
Rules- You can decide the rules as far as what can be said as a starting phrase and what can't (vulgar, etc.)
But, its more interesting if people aren't allowed to repeat themselves(if someone didn't understand what was whispered to them the whisperer can't repeat it, he/she just has to whisper what they could make out).
Hints/Tips- This game is the most fun w/ a large group, so it seems appropriate for your party,
Also, it could be fun to add a few tounge-twisters or foreign language phrases as starting sents!!
Hope this helped.

The most fun I've ever had with a game is Scattergories. It doesn't seem like much when you look at it, but when you play it, some of the answers make you laugh so hard you'll still be talking about them years later!
"Something that bounces, that starts with the letter 'P'?... Uh, a psycho?"
LOL

Hmm, most prefer video games over any sort of physical activity. Games such as tag, red light green light, charades, etc...would be for the younger children IMO
