The Simpsons have been on the air for almost 20 years. I was just curious to see if South Park has the potential to have a run like that.

I believe they have the potential becasue Matt Stone and Trey PArker seem to be devoted to the show and they are creative enought to come up with new and funny episodes. The fact is a lot of the episodes either deal with funny children stuff or events that are going on in the world so as long as events keep occuring...South Park will have something to make fun of

I don't exactly know either. But I like the Simpsons a bit better than South Park, although the Simpsons really do sometimes keep putting the same episodes over and over. Well, the Chef in South Park hasn't been appearing as much anymore. And Kenny doesn't have a big part either.

I believe South Park does!
I don't think The Simpson's could ever push half the bounders that South Park has.
The animation they use can get eps out in weeks so SP stays current with whats going on and what's hot in the world news or celeb life Oh man that Tom Cruise ep still makes me laugh just thinking about it!

I hope the creators of South Park can have a long run like the Simpsons. Even though they lost Chef, they will still be okay...I mean they lost one of their women voices to a suicide and they are still doing great and you can't even tell...

I think the public loves South Park (or at least the ones who don't get offended easily), but I think it's really up the creators.

I really hope not! Sorry but the show kinda gets on my nerves almost (but not quite as bad as) Beavis and Butthead.
