I'm thinking of getting it. Is it a good phone? pros/cons? Has anyone has any problems with it? My last two Motorolas have ended up breaking (on its own, not by dropping/crushing/smashing it!! lol).
I really love my music so if this phone isn't any good, can you suggest a better one?

It's a really good phone. Expandable memory so you can store all the music you want plus an excellent speaker. It also has a really good camera and is easy to use. You'll never beat Nokia for reliability but the w810i is a superb phone!

some sound experts did a research on d w810i, w800i, nokia 3250, motorola E2, a samsung phone (cos samsung don't have a popular music phone) and a siemens too (same reason as samsung). anyway, w810i was d best among them, beating nokia's ultimate music phone.
funny thing is...my brother has a 3250 and i just got d w810i so lemme analyze from my experience. in a nutshell, d w810i is a better phone because it responds faster than on d 3250(which can be a pain). d w810 has (most certainly) more memory capacity than d 3250.i've put a better description below...enjoy.
the w810i comes with a 262,144 TFT colour display measuring about 2"(28*35mm with pixel resolution size of 176*220).
there are two colour variants,satin black(common) and fusion white(cool but SCARCE!)
there are 40 preloaded polyphonic and mp3 ringtones which u can always add to thanks to the 512MB pro duo card that comes with it.memory capacity is expandable to 4GB u know.internal memory anyway is 20MB shared among d phonebook and other applications in d phone(like d preloaded ringtones).
it's got GPRS class 10 (good) and EDGE class 10 also making internet browsing on d phone quite fast.there's also a NetFront browser that allows u to view web pages like d new yahoo homepage as well as answers on ur phone..COOL!it's also got HSCSD,bluetooth v2.0,infrared and USB v2.0(cable comes in sales pack).
for entertainment,d w810i supports mp3 files,mpeg4,aac and wma(aac output is cool).it's also got RDS radio allowing ur w810i to tune to a particular station at a particular time so u don't miss ur fave programmes.
d camera is an awesome 2mpx with 1632*1224 resolution(best 2mpx in d market,FACT!)
Finally but there's always more,u can listen to music for 28 hours continous even when d phone's off so it's got a good battery life.
coupled with awesome sound and picture quality,u've got a cool machine in ur palms.

My daughter has one and I have recently changed to the Sony Ericson K610i. We both have had no trouble with them and prefer them to our old Samsung E720's. My K610i has something called twister that is good fun after using the 2 meg pix camara to distort faces.
My son has a Samsung D600 which has been really good also
Incidently I hate mobile phones!

Wouldn't buy any Sony ericsson after past experiences. Not unless you live right next to a transmitter ! The reception on them is terrible ! Very poor signal strength. Worst of any brand I've ever bought !
They're lovely phones but you soon get bored of seeing SOS only as soon as you go inside a building !

I dont understand what you advise by using way of internet surfing capabilties of K610i. K610i is a 3G telephone with better surfing speeds, in case you have 3G you may get this telephone and deploy Opera Mini on your telephone. or you are able to attempt the contemporary SE K530i with 3G else in case you dont have 3G provider pick for W810i or W610i (the two has part and can help Opera Mini)

the sony ericsson is and good brand phone and so is the new one w810i i have not heard and complets about it so yeah go for it and yes i work for a cell phone company
