So what will the Gov and people do when they find that all this "reality" is only the result of an equation that ends with the exsistance of all turning back into something else...

My thoughts is nothing, the dumbing down of America is in full effect....

Science proved that we only have 50 years worth of fuel left, and 100 years of life supporting forests but what do people do.....drink beer, watch TV and live their dull lives as usual

No because math is not about reality it is about an approximation of reality

Any organization of matter is information. That includes living creatures. Information is an emergent property that arises from the statistical envelope of prior and simpler prerequisite properties. These prior properties, in turn, may be emergent from precursors of their own. The chain in emergent properties goes from us, here at the level of philosophy, back to when the first hadrons "emerged" from the association of three quarks.

America is dumbing down because the government insists that the races are all equals, that the only differences between them are caused by environmental factors, and that an effective way to bring the races into equality in (let us say) academic performance is to pass a law requiring that the schools make it so (or else lose their federal funding).

Since the government's "nurture over nature" assumption is false, the schools find it impossible to make Blacks as smart as Whites, and, in order to keep their funding, the school officials have begun lying and cheating and falsifying... and dumbing down their curiculum so that even the dumbest student can make a good score.

The peak in the world's production of petroleum fuels is now. Hereafter, there will be a steady decline in the number of barrels of oil produced, even as the demand for that oil is on the rise due to the industrial development in China and India. There will be wars and famines, and an apocalypse that might kill five billion people.

Sooner or later, even the dullest of the couch potatoes will wake up and get scared. But, of course, by then it will be too late. Nature does not guarantee that all living things get to stay living; in fact, it rather ruthlessly culls every herd from time to time. We humans are past due for a severe culling, and we're going to get one sometime during this century.

If you do a search of info on ED Witten, the smartest man alive since Einstein, and the M Theory, and Stringy Universe, CERN and the Large Hadride Collider, you find that our "reality" in 4 teeny, primitive dimensions ( X Y Z and TIME ) are really in 11 dimensions.
So far we can only broadcast our existence into the other missing 7 with a graviton pulse from a nuclear explosion. We live on a BRANE, like a slice of bread, in the loaf of the real universe. They are just doing experiments now to verify the M theory.
Search for John Hutchinson, the Hutchinson Effect, as to date, he is the only person I know of who is actually doing research in the other 7 dimensions.
The teeny, primitive view of the real universe that we now see in our physics and science, is about to expand, and if we can see and use the other missing 7 dimensions, fuel and mechanics as we know it would be obsolete.
Great stuff. Look into it !

Math is a human invention - we invented math, therefore we are real.

Science didn't account for China's and other less developed countries' rapid rise as industrial nations when they made their fuel predictions.

And they didn't account for third world countries wiping out the rain forests as rapidly as they are, either. On the other hand, neither were they informed of the reforestation effects and laws against strip cutting recently enacted in this country. So much for their life supporting forest forecasts.

So, instead of relying solely on science for all of our answers, I move we drink beer, watch TV and, instead of dull lifes, we spice it up a little.

what can i say about science...hmmmm. not much really.
nice to think we know the truth though. God will make all who don't believe in Him suffer. Have a nice day.

Not much will change.

If this reality isn't real, what does it mater?
