There was a really good one, where Archie and Betty are on a date, and Archies car goes into a river with Betty on it. Archie swims out to save Betty, and then Archie says, "Boy, I sure am cold." Betty agrees. They see a motel, and Archie suggests that they go to it. Betty disagrees, saying that they're not married, and that they would never let them in. Archie says that they can pretend, or they could stand and be very cold. They both check in, and then Archie says, "Okay, Betty, take your clothes off." Betty's like, "Take my what off!" Eventually, Betty agrees, and they both take get good and naked, and put clothes on. Betty decides to call her dad, and he comes, only to see them both in towels. He's infuriated, saying Archie should now marry Betty. They try to explain what happened, but he doesn't believe them. Finally, Archie's dad convinces him, and showes him some evidence. It's a great story. You can see part of it, just pick me as your best answer, and I'll give you a link to a summary with pictures of it.

I never was a big Archie fan. But, for some reason, I have the first 2 Archie digests in my comic book collection. And I still haven't read them.

Sad to say but I don't collect Archie digest. I used to read it all the time years ago, I even watched all the cartoons. My favorite is jug head, he's a riot! Veronica is something else. Always trying to hook up with Archie!...

Yep, I read Archie digests. My faves are probably the following:
Betty's Diary
Little Archie (by Bob Bolling)
Archie Christian comic series (Spire)
Sabrina (non-manga flavor)
Betty and / or Veronica
Archie's Madhouse

Yeah I have quite a collection myself. I still buy them now and then and I notice that alot of stories are reprints and even have some stories from way back. Pretty cool since it would be kinda expensive to buy the originals. I like the ones where Jughead and Archie outsmart Reggie.

I like when Veronica takes the Archie gang to vacations, they're the most interesting ones I've read.

yeah I have a few digests!
I like the fact that the stories are simple and done in 4 to 6 pages!
I don't like the "little archie, little betty, little veronica" stories
I do like Josie and Sabrina and whenever the whole gang is together!

Haha, I collected Archies back in 4th grade. I'm 19 now, and I still like to read them, though I don't buy new ones anymore

Yes, I'm still an Archie fan.
Last year I brought home several digests, from around 1980, that I bought as a kid. Now my oldest son reads them (and we got him a bunch of older Archie comics for his own.)
One story that persisted all those years, and made my son laugh too is this:
Jughead says he can say "Hello" in 5 languages. The last one he says is "Welcome," which he claims is "Canadian". Ronnie and Betty of course think he's nuts. But then a newcomer joins their group, and when Jughead says, "Welcome" the guy immediately asks if he's from Canada too!
Predictable? Yes. Funny? Yup.
