Absolutely it is, if you're ignorant enough to buy into the propaganda like a great many people are. You missed one or two, by the way - using 'patriotism' to push their agenda, and complaining about the 'liberal bias'. (I've often wondered how there can be a liberal bias in the media, when these NeoCon whackos won't let the liberals even talk on their programs... )Excellent question.

Let me see, Ollie North?

He rose to national prominence because of the Iran-Contra Affair, during which he was a key Reagan administration official involved in the clandestine selling of weapons to Iran in order to generate proceeds to support the Contra rebel group in violation of the law — specifically, a provision known as the Boland Amendment.

Bill O'Reilly

Fox News anchor Bill O'Reilly was sued for sexual harassment by Fox News producer Andrea Mackris. Now you can hear, word for word, what O'Reilly suggested to Mackris during a steamy late-night phone call. What follows is from the transcript of the actual tape recording that Mackris made of Bill O'Reilly's call to her on the night of September 1, 2004. Presented by IFILM.

There is not such thing like american way, or there is not only one american way. US is not an homogenic country, no one is, it is a variety of interest trying to prevail over the others. fox represents the interest of the neocons trying to make that ideology appear the reality, there for it is just one of the mulyiple american ways

All news (Fox, CNN, CBS, ABC, NBC, PBS) is spun and twisted with one-sided stories. I've never seen any show on any network that features guests screaming at each other, although they all do have shows that have guests trying to talk over each other. "drug using hero's" and "womanizing host" are just canards.

What I don't like about Fox news is that they will never let somebody else talk during a debate. It makes me think they may be afraid of another opinion.
