Personally, I believe that humans cannot see angels, and that we can only see them if they choose to take a physical form. The reason as to why we cannot see them is because, according to the book of Genesis and other sources, such as the Forgotten Books of Eden, we are lower than angels, who are holy messengers and servants of God. When Adam and Eve disobeyed God's command, we lost our holy and most-high stature, and thus our eyes were "opened." In a way, I believe that our eyes were opened to the physical aspect of the world and closed to the metaphysical and spiritual aspect of the world, thus preventing us from seeing angels and other heavenly beings.

I don't think we can normally see angels, or at least recognize that what we are seeing is an angel. The wings are mostly symbolic: they get back and forth between God and Man, so they need wings. But they are messengers, sure enough, just as Mercury was depicted with wings on his heels and his helmet to symbolize being the messenger of the Gods.

That's about normally. As to what happens in altered states, who can say? I mean that literally: things happen that we cannot talk about because there are no appropriate words. To speak is to be misunderstood. So where words fail, we use symbols, and those wings are important as symbols.

Angels are messengers of God..they come to you through love..they help you when you are troubled and are happy to work with you in the background without your knowledge.. without any thanks or praise because they help you through love.

Angels will show themselves on occasions in different ways that we can see and understand with our physical eyes..Personally I have never seen wings or halos.

I believe in angels and think that they can take human form if they need to, but mostly, they are around us, watching over us and helping. Sometimes, if you take a picture and when you develop it, you can see little arc-like bright lights in them around people in the pics and that my friends, are angels.

In heaven they have their wings, the bible gives a good description of them in varies passages. I think when they walk among us and show themselves they are in human form.

Some people can see them while others only if the angel shows themself.

I personally am not into channeling, and very wary of people who claim they channel angels.

I dont know whether they have such things but bible tells us that agenls comes from heaven. it means indirectely we are shown that they come from the sky with the wings: without wings how they couold come down. this is only the shown but ecxactly they dont need wings either are needs wings.
power is power.
when we return to heaven we also might not have wings right
we go without it and with hellp of go d
thats all
so wings are only showing something
