Actually scientists are considering some time travel possibilities:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/science/space/exploration/timetravel/index.shtml
However, it should be pointed out that these are all theories, and their application remains far in the future.... beyond our lifetimes. But then again, with time travel what difference would that make?

Time is relative. It deals with speed. If you are on earth and I am on a space ship traveling very very fast then time will slow down for me and stay the same for you. So when I return I will have aged a little and you will have aged much more. Even when you fly on a plane from one side of the US to the other you will have aged (although very minuscle) a little less then the people not on the plane. I do not think that you can travel back in time like in back to the future but I know you can slow down "time" around you when you are traveling very fast.Cheers.

If that were possible then we would have seen some time travellers by now..isn't it. To support the time travel they came up with the notion of parallel universe which is the biggest fart i hv ever heard. Comeon can this really be true?

If we would, then perhaps someone from the future would have already travelled to the past, and then time machines would have always existed!...
Mabe in 4 dimentional space one could travell in two directions at the same time and get from point a to points b and c at the same time. That object would have multiplied itself in two, in order to be at those exact two points at the same moment.
Now the question is, if a person who gets from point a to b and c at the same time,(multiplying herself) would that person
be the same person at points b and c...

No, because the future/past is not an actual place that we can go to, our phyiscal bodies can not leave to another "time" because that "place" does not exist. Future and Past are memories and fabrics of the mind. Where do you think we would actually "go" if we went into the past?

No Never. The only time travel is that we are doing it at its own pace not our choosing

we travel through time all the time(one way) I think sometime in the future, someone will develope a form of time travel(I'm fond of the saying"if you candream it, you can do it") it probly wont be in my lifetime though;)

Theotically it is possible. Based on mathematically calculation, we will need a mass amount of energy to do it, which equivalent to the energy that millions of sun can produce.

NO! this can't be possible. The earth cannot rotate in wrong direction and whatever happens cannot be returned.
