Classical, traditional, and medieval Astrologers do not use the outer planets: Uranus, Neptune and Pluto in their delineations, modern Astrologers utilize them.

Whether or not Pluto is classified as planet or not is irrelevant to modern practitioners of Astrology. The qualities associated with Pluto: power, control, transformation and the destroying or reforming urge, are still applicable whether it is called a planet or an ice dwarf.

Scorpio is co-ruled by Mars and Pluto. That will not change.

Astrologers use other bodies in addition to planets in our calculations, such as asteroids. Ceres, an asteroid, one of the bodies they may call a planet, already is in use by modern Astrologers. Other asteroids currently being used are Juno, Pallas, and Vesta. Chiron, a centaur, is also extensively in use.

In summary, it makes do difference to what Pluto is classified as, the characteristics associated with it still stand.

I am glad you asked this question. I was wondering it myself. The one who gave the answer,"it won't be considered a ruling planet," might explain what will happen, or it could be revised to eight planets, as I think it was at one time before the discovery of Pluto.

This is an except from wikipedia.org. On August 24, 2006, Pluto was no longer classified as a true planet and thus became a dwarf planet. It is not yet clear what effect this will have on the sign of Scorpio but some astrologers suggest that Mars will once again (as prior to the discovery of Pluto in 1931) become the primary ruling planet of Scorpio.

I have answered this exact question before. Pluto doesn't make much difference in day to day life. It is such a slow moving piece of rock that the effects of the planet are more generational, rather than individual. It won't change a thing.

I am not going to believe that that took Pluto away unless I read about it in a textbook or something, I know I've heard it on the news talking about how they MIGHT...
But I've read that they might keep PLuto because they found Pluto's moos and are thinking about considering them Planets

Since astrology has been disproved (see http://www.badastronomy.com/bad/misc/astrology.html) it will make no difference.

...unless the demotion of a planet has special significance to astrologers.

If we redefined 'planet' small enough, there would be lots of new planets. How would astrologers cope then?
