Does u think the astronauts made it to the sun?
Gee lady, last I heard it was the moon.
but the way our government makes things up, who knows???

No it wasn't too hot for the astronauts. You see, they had already been exploring the dark side of the moon where as you know, it's very cold. After that they quickly travelled to the Sun and since their boots were already so cold, they were able to briefly walk upon the surface of the Sun without injury. But only briefly.
The part of the story that you might not have heard is very sad. The heat of the Sun cracked their dilithium crystals and as a result, they weren't able to control the matter-antimatter mix in their Soyuz spacecraft. The ship fell back into the Sun and they all perished.

Astronauts can not walk on the sun, and as far as I know, aren't foolish enough to attempt it.

I'm sure NASA developed some special Sun Boots so that they wouldn't burn their feet, and passed out lots of Sun Block.
