My best (girl) friend is going out with a guy, and he is great so I have no reason (and no intention) to break them up, but from what I have been told on this site, it is probably only a matter of time till they do break up. What I want to know is what I should do when (if) they do? Should I just be a shoulder to cry on? What should I tell her?

First of all, don't worry about it too much so early. If that happens, be there for her. Tell her you'll do whatever she wants you to do to make her feel better. Don't talk about the break-up too much. Just being there helps. Also, don't think negatively like that. Hope that they stay a couple for a long time. After a while, sometimes a couple might become tired and both may mutually agree to break up, so a break-up might not be as bad as you think it is. From what you said, it doesn't sound like there is any problems, so just chill!

JUST LISTEN TO HER, AND TRY NOT TO SAY ANYTHING THAT WILL MAKE IT SEEM THAT YOU ARE ON HER SIDE OR HIS SIDE.....DON'T SAY THINGS LIKE, "I KNEW IT WAS COMING" AND WHATNOT...JUST BE PREPARED AND NEUTRAL.
