Considering the starting point from which one proceeds to the midway point is one way to resolve the issue. Although the resolution is usually regarded as a determinant of an optimistic/pessimistic outlook. Typically the half-empty perspective is seen as pessmistic as the pessimist is seen to be complaining "things could be better, there could be more in the glass. Whereas the half-full perspective is seen as optimistic as the optimist is seen to be applauding "things could be worse, there could be less in the glass

For an athiest, the realisation of the impernance of existence is the 2nd the shackles are bumped off. With the certainty that that those 70-ninety years are all we've, we alter into quite loose, waiting to take exhilaration in and cherish each final gutwrenching, awe-inspiring 2nd. in an attempt to respond to your question, it truly is not correct if the glass is 0.5 empty, 0.5 finished, the other way up, interior out, the athiest is conscious this may well be the final pint he ever beverages, so he's going to savor each final drop of it.

By George, you've got it!! Actually, it depends upon whether you are an optimist or a pessimist as to whether the glass is half full or half empty.

You can say it anyway, But if you say it is half full then it sounds like you have a lot. If you say it is half empty then it sounds like you don't have a lot.

I believe it all depends on if you're a pessimist or optimist. Personally, I'm a pessimist, & see it as half empty.
