I heard a saying awhile back and I don't know the full saying but it was something along the lines of "Don't throw rocks at a glass house". Does anyone know what the exact saying was and also what does it mean? Thanks sooooo much to anyone who helps!

Don't throw rocks, if you live in a glass house.
In other words, don't speak badly, if you have something to hide.

The phrase is people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw rocks. It means you should take a look at yourself before judging others or don't criticize others for the exact same things you do.

The saying goes: " People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw rocks." In general it means don't cast aspersions upon others unless you are perfect yourself.

I believe it means the glass reflects upon you...Don't be a hypocrite. Don't be critical. Treats others the same way you'd like to be treated. Don't expect anything from others that you can't even expect from yourself....I don't know...I think it can mean a couple different things...I've heard people explain it in a few different ways actually, so, I'm not 100% sure myself what the TRUE meaning is...

It means don't do something that will obviously have bad consequences. If you throw rocks at a glass house, it will break.

He who lives in glass house should not throw rocks . . .

Because whomever the glass house owner criticizes,
will probably retaliate by throwing rocks, in return,
and breaking the first person's house.

People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. It means, basically, don't say things that could upset others if you can't handle being upset yourself. Here's an example: Don't tell a friend you don't like her new hairstyle unless you don't mind of she tells you your perfume stinks like compost.
