yes, there is a lot of information on yahoo that is free and simple to use. I got to know my wife through yahoo messenger. I didn't meet her there but it would have been long distance for phone calls. We may have not got together without the messenger.

yes, even the new page is great.. I like the messenger part, 8.0, because it helps me keep in touch with my friends from around the world...
much cheaper than trying to call on the phone, and instantaneous conversations. what's not to like?
