There are a few individuals who simply dispute the numbers and dates - 5,000 instead of 9,000, it happened in City A instead of City B - stuff like that.
Then there are those who believe the idea of the Holocaust is part of the worldwide "Jewish/Zionist conspiracy" to gain sympathy for the Jewish people. They believe that a few war crimes were committed and that perhaps a few hundred of Jews were killed, but that those numbers were greatly exaggerated. By exaggerating the numbers, they were able to gain sympathy in the UN, thus gaining a state of their own (Israel). Plus, whenever someone disagrees with them on a topic, they get to waive the "bloody shirt" of the Holocaust to get their way. These people also believe the Jews control the world and stuff like that. More than likely, hatred exists behind their statements.

I think I can answer this question, the killings of Jews during WWII is a fact, the suffering of the Jew people was used as one of the reasons to create the state of Israel, so people that would like the state of Israel did not exist will tell you that the Holocaust did not exist, we where not there to count the bodies so we will not know for sure how many millions died, but did not hesitate the Holocaust existed, it was probably exaggerated and it makes no sense to exagerate the killing of millions but probably made some sense at that time when they were taking land from the Palestinisan people and giving it to the Jew people.

For every rediculous theory, there are people, even in small numbers, who believe in that theory. In my opinion, one of the biggest reasons is simply because they want to believe it. If the Holocaust was made up, it means that that person or those people do not have to honor the memory or even acknowledge it. Jewish people would then become liars, as would our goverment. In the eyes of these people, this would render them exempt from any type of responsibility regarding the way in which the Jewish community, as well as other minorities have been and continue to be treated.

The people who claim that the Holocaust did not occur usually have have an agenda such as those ignorant skinhead Americans. What I wish I could see is an acknowledgment by those that decry the Holocaust that in addition to six million Jews, Hitler also murdered Gypsies, the institutionalized insane, criminals and any other group considered sub Aryan.

The Haolocaust is fully documented by the German peoples as well as the rest of the civilized world. To deny that it happened is pure ignorance. The camps at Auschwitz,Dachau, and Treblinka still exist to this day.Anti-semitism and hate are the only explinations for denial.Yes,there is a conspiracy,to further the agenda of those who would dicredit the Jews' right to exist.

There are stil people that hate the Jews. People will always try to revise history to suit their needs. People believe that the Jews made the whole story up to get post war sympathy (and Isreal). I do not know any independant authority that believes the Holocaust did not occur.
Everone who tries to explain it away usually has anti-semitic reasons.

properly you could consistently use wikipedia. the clarification they have been dealt with so undesirable: in this term there have been outbreaks of disease, warfare, famine, and usual chaos. regrettably the plenty grew to become against the minority and blamed the Jews. They clamed Jews poisoned the wells and led to the illnesses, Jews corrupted the politicians to reason warfare and make money, and that Jews profited of the demise of Christians. All of it is obviously made up. yet its this stigma linked to Jews that bring about Nazism and Hitlers upward thrust. a terror of the unknown led to the plenty to discover a scapegoat.

They think it wasn't of the magnitude it was. They try to diminish it, I guess, so that there will be less sympathy for Jewish people. They are anti-Semitic.
Take a look at the photographs. Visit Auschwitz.

Denial is scary! I have a friend who got religion. He was so into it, he, AN ADULT, went around telling everyone that there was NO SUCH THING as dinosaurs, that all those bones we see are FAKES designed to mess up our FAITH system!
Believe in the wrong thing and a straight line becomes as curvy as a jig saw puzzle!
