Myself, I'm in Chicago, and my idea for a next Survivor location is what's left of the housing projects here, such as Cabrini-Green, Henry Horner, Rockwell Gardens, Ida B. Wells, or Stateway Gardens. That will put the contestants to the real test with gang, drug activity, and strange stares from the people living there. They'd be so scared that they want to be voted out of the projects. Now that'd be a real survival test. CBS should consider that idea. Now that's what you'd call a Survivor series. The islands are nothing compared to the ghettos in major cities.

the damn ghettos of chicago!!!!! that would be funny...

i remember once i was doing extra work on a movie called losing isah or whatever with halle berry and cuba and they had us wearing hats right, and these gang-girls over there were actually telling the pa/assistant director they were going to kick our asses if we didn't turn our hats the right way for their area!!!

Survivor just wouldnt work in the ghetto. The object of survivor is who can survive the longest isolated from everything. In the ghetto they would have other people not castaways and how would the do the challenges. It just wouldnt work.

They have to use remote islands. There's a Starbucks on every street corner everywhere else... so what would be the point? Not much deprivation when you can get a latte by walking down the street! LOL

Mind you, HOW they earn money to pay for their expensive latte's might be interesting to watch!

I agree along with L.A., New York, Miami, or even the desert. Get rid of the island idea lets do something realistic.

It is all about the feeling of being isolated. How would you get that effect in a city full of people?

I think they should film an episode in the Grand Canyon or Alaska.

How about Antarctica. They will get at least about 6 months of sunshine.
