What do you do if you've never heard God's voice? I've never heard His voice and I really want to. I know it's in the Father's own will and time to do so and I have prayed so many times and so hard. Maybe He is talking to me but I'm just not tuned in. How do I get 'tuned' in? When my sister was going through bad times the Lord spoke to her through my mother and she did as He said and everything has turned out right for her. I'm kinda in trouble with my relationship with God and wordliness etc. I pray and cry often that the Lord would talk and guide me through this time just like He did for her. Is He mad at me that He wont talk to me?

no, love. God isn't mad at you. i've also found myself in a similar situation but when i really looked at it i was afraid. afraid to hear what God might say. i thought it might be negative or something. i think once you let go of your fears and inhibitions, really open your heart... that's when it happens. it doesn't have to be a booming voice or a whisper, it could be a thought u suddenly have that makes perfect sense. God communicates with us in different ways, maybe you want to hear God the way you want to and therefore are shutting out the other avenues that God uses to communicate. above all, like i've said, don't be afraid, know that you are worthy of God's love... that's when your walls will crumble and you'll soon see that God was talking with you this whole time, just waiting for you to finally listen.

please listen to my words very carefully ... just the fact you are even asking this question is good .. it means you are seeking after god in heaven. sometimes .. our father in heaven does not respond to us or is simply silent because he is trying to get you to seek him more earnestly. This is a good thing. It means you are growing in your relationship with your father in heaven and he knows you are ready for the next step. That is what our relationship with our creator is like: going up a flight of steps .. eahc one is a little more dificult then the last but each time you climb up you come that much closer to god in heaven... and he to you ..... so do not , i emphasis , do not give up .....keep seeking and you will find .. keep knocking and the door will be opened ... i think if you really want to facilitate an answer from god and make him move before he intended to .. because we have the power to do that , give him thanks and praise ... in your prayers .. instead of asking for your desires ... try just simply thanking god for things and telling him how good he has been and is to you and others. .... the bible tells us that god inhabits(lives) in our worship and praise ..... try it and see what happens...
