Search for Jimi Hendrix and you will find a lot of related sites who are influenced by Jimi Hendrix. Thats the easiest way of finding like kind of music that I have found just type Jimi Hendrix in the Yahoo Search window and search .

I don't know , but I can tell you that Stevie Ray Vaughn was directly influenced by Jimi, and there's lots who have also been.

Jimi's main contribution was using feedback from his equipment to personalize his sound. Up till then, feedback was regarded as unwanted noise from the equipment. Jimi might very well have got this idea from the jazz saxophone guys who used their horns in unorthodox ways.

PS- A big influence on Jimi was (Rahsaan) Roland Kirk. Kirk was a jazz sax player. He could circular breathe, play up to three saxes at a time and was blind. If you hear Kirks playing, it's pretty obvious that Jimi was really influenced by him, and Jimi said it himself.

u could always try a search engine... or in seattle near where i work they have the music experience building. maybe they have alot of stuff on him there since jimi hendrix did live near seattle.. the store where he baught his guitar is now a computer electronics store i think...
