The reason he didn't order planes in the air is because the administration and PNAC wanted "another Pearl Harbor" to further the imperialist agenda.

Your post is disrespectful of a person that has held terrorists at bay for almost 5 years. Do some reading and studying. America is under attack--in fact, this is a war. Do you not realize that extremists want every American and Westerner killed?
After the 1st tower was hit, no one could have known it was an act of terror--could have been an accident. The second plane demonstrated that it was a terrorist attack. But even knowing that, no one knew what the plan was. That is why all planes were ordered to land--so only the terrorists would remain in the air and situation could have been addressed.
Do you read any news--say on the Internet?
