Clearly, you need to start weight training. Do bicep curls and tricep extensions on both arms. Also, you need strong shoulders and a strong back to throw the ball well. Thus you need to do some lat pull downs and shoulder exercises. Weight train about 3-4 times a week.

Also, you can practice throwing in order to throw further. Use your whole body and not just your arm to throw. You need to work out your center like your back and your abs.

The most important muscles for throwing are not located in the arms. If you really want to improve throwing strength work the lower body and abdominal regions, then strengthen the arms by playing long-toss. The problem with working the arms is they are nearly impossible to work symmetrically. There are little muscles in the shoulders that are important, but when we work out we tend to work the larger muscle groups. This puts too much stress on the smaller muscles and leads to a lot of strains and soreness when throwing.

Nothing is as good for arm strength as simple Long Toss. Everyday Long Toss!
