hey,
i asked the question before, but i only got one answer that wasn't complete crap. i'm trying to start a punk rock band. our influences include sum 41 and rancid. i want a number name like sum 41 or blink-182 preferably, but i'm open to suggestions. after all, we're tryin to be original. we want to do a fusion of old school hip-hop and new wave pop punk. i thought of a name like El Literate would be neat. like a play on words. any idea's?

Difficult since you want to be original. I had a friend in the late 70's who was in several bands, went on to be part of a touring band in the 80's. His early band had some pretty cool names, one was, Smoke 10, probably a take on the times,ya know MJ. He was in another called Bad Sassy. They were great, rocked hard. They got notice alot because of the name. He left and played lead for Nazareth after awhile. A play on words is always good.

hmm..how about Stereo 57 or Digital 22
or you can take like the first letters of each band members name or last name and just put a number after it...lets say the people in your band's name are Aaron, Tim, and Bob..you could do like ATB 7 or any other number
